Golden State Warriors Highlights vs. Orlando Magic
WARRIORS OUTSCORE MAGIC BY 15 POINTS IN DECISIVE THIRD QUARTER
Despite never leading throughout the first half, the Warriors were able to tie the game at 43 entering halftime. The Dubs carried that momentum into the third quarter, outscoring the Magic by 15 (39-24) in the frame. The Warriors completely turned around their perimeter shooting struggles in the quarter, going from a 5-for-23 first half to making six of their eight 3-point attempts. Stephen Curry made two 3-pointers in the quarter after an 0-for-6 first half and Dennis Schroder added a pair of treys to remain a perfect 3-for-3 for the game. Andrew Wiggins scored 10 of his team-high 25 points in the frame.
POST AND GREEN CHEMISTRY
Quinten Post made his third consecutive start on Monday, but his first alongside Draymond Green, who returned to the lineup after being sidelined with a left calf strain. Post and Green showcased glimpses of what could become a strong connection, particularly in the third quarter, as Green found his big man for a dribble drive layup and connected with him for a right 3-pointer. After the three, Green was the first to greet Post as the two embraced and yelled in celebration. The addition of Post in the starting lineup adds spacing next to Green in the frontcourt, while still allowing him to play his natural position, power forward.
